- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★At ~8 PM on Oct. 7th, my motorcycle (2009 low milage, 700 + pounds) QUIT at intersection of US 70 and Shotwell Rd. Had been to dealer earlier in day for valve adjustment. Net: officer Evans arrived and with a great amount of physical effort was able to push cycle over 'crown' of US 70 to get me and cycle rolling down hill on Shotwell to turn into retail parking lot. Also required Officer Evans to push me and cycle up incline to get into lot. During this time, he carefully positioned his car with lights 'strobing' such that we were highlighted as a temporary hazard. He was extremely polite and professional throughout. The next day the dealership sent 2 employees and a trailer out to correct situation. I am forever grateful to the officer for far exceeding expectations. Physical limitations due to age lessened my ability to help as much as I would have liked to.By Herb Scott, September 17, 2017
